The Story
ActiveSound System BMW 3 Series Saloon/Touring/Gran Touring [F30/F31/F34] DIESEL models ONLY, which features life-like petrol V8 exhaust sound.
Applicable Models:
316D, 318D, 320D, 325D, 330D, 335D
Controllable from smartphone app the driver can control:
- Engine startup sound
- Engine idle sound
- Sound characteristic / pitch adjustment
- Overall volume adjustment
- Adjustment of sound related to engine speed for full versatility
All settings are then programable into various driver profiles so it’s possible for the driver to change settings all together at ease to a different preset profile / setup if required.
Driver profile settings can be selected through factory buttons inside the car such as driver profile through the iDrive (if equipped) or through buttons such as start/stop function or cruise control (the original factory functionality of such buttons will not be lost).
